- All fallers certified in utility handfalling; crews trained in chainsaw safety, WHMIS, and advanced first aid.
- Work performed to applicable provincial/state OH&S and utility arborist standards; permits and wildlife timing windows observed.
- Mandatory pre‑shift Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), toolbox talks, documented rescue and emergency response plans.
- Lockout/tagout and coordination with utility operators for de‑energizing when required; strict exclusion and drop‑zone controls.
- PPE, radios, traffic control, and site signage used on every job; incident reporting and post‑job safety audit provided.
